The Equestrian Statue of Gattamelata is a sculpture by Italian early Renaissance artist Donatello, dating from 1453, located in the Piazza del Santo in Padua, Italy, today. It portrays the Renaissance condottiero Erasmo da Narni, known as "Gattamelata", who served mostly under the Republic of Venice, which ruled Padua at the time.

Donatello executed two works in Padua–the high altar for Sant'Antonio with bronze reliefs and this bronze equestrian statue, a commemorative monument for the recently deceased Venetian condottiere, Erasmo da Narni (nicknamed Gattamelata or "honeyed [or cunning] cat," a reference to his Mother's name, Melania Gattelli).
The military leader was nicknamed "Gattamelata." He rose in ranks to become the General Commander of all the armies in the Republic of Venice. Donatello's depiction of Gattamelata was the earliest equestrian work of its kind created during the Renaissance. The statue is cast in bronze and portrays Gattamelata and his horse as life sized.
